In May, everything in Bocholt revolves around the topic of "Living in old age". For three weeks, more than 50 events and lectures offer comprehensive orientation on forms of living and support services in Bocholt. The programme is aimed at people aged 60 and over, senior citizens, relatives and other interested parties.

The new swap box was officially opened in the Friedhofsviertel neighbourhood at the weekend. Numerous residents of the neighbourhood met at the neighbourhood meeting point to get to know the new service. The opening was accompanied by a colourful programme with coffee and cake, face painting and play stations for children and young people.

Joint project: schoolchildren and senior citizens design "benches for tolerance"

Bocholt - Pupils and senior citizens have now built "Benches for Tolerance" together as part of the project week at the vocational college at the water tower. The benches are to be installed in Bocholt city centre during the holiday weeks.
