The kitchen at Bocholter Energie- und Wasserversorgung (BEW) has now become particularly Christmassy: the first of two baking events took place as part of the "Generations, Cultures and Diversity" project organised by the Federal Working Group for Senior Citizens.

The new swap box was officially opened in the Friedhofsviertel neighbourhood at the weekend. Numerous residents of the neighbourhood met at the neighbourhood meeting point to get to know the new service. The opening was accompanied by a colourful programme with coffee and cake, face painting and play stations for children and young people.

Bocholt - Pupils and senior citizens have now built "Benches for Tolerance" together as part of the project week at the vocational college at the water tower. The benches are to be installed in Bocholt city centre during the holiday weeks.
