The finder's fee shall amount to 5% of the value of the item up to 500 euros, 3% of the added value and 3% in the case of animals. If the item is only of value to the person authorised to receive it, the finder's fee shall be determined at the finder's reasonable discretion.

Can I hand in lost property anonymously?

Yes, this is possible. Please note that you can then claim neither a finder's fee nor acquisition of ownership.
