Hello, my name is Monique Buß and I have been working in outreach social work in the Giethorst/Nord-Ost neighbourhood since January 2025.
You can find us on the edge of the neighbourhood at Münsterstr. 23a.
My work is as colourful and varied as the people and life here in the neighbourhood. I really like that.
Together with the people and various stakeholders here, our aim is to shape the neighbourhood together.
We also always have an open ear for requests, concerns or problems.
Various activities take place regularly, such as the joint breakfast or the queer regulars' table, singing together or sports, holiday games or activities outside on the green space.
Everyone is welcome to contribute ideas and suggestions, and anyone can take part in an uncomplicated way.
If there are personal problems or difficulties, I can offer advice, support or refer you to a suitable organisation. I have an open ear and can always be approached, I also support contact with the authorities and help in the "bureaucratic jungle".

ContentI work in the neighbourhood because it is important to me that the residents of the Giethorst-Nordost neighbourhood enjoy a high quality of life. They should enjoy being in their neighbourhood and find everything they need there.
The focus is on the areas of health and prevention, neighbourhood and social cohesion and citizen proximity and participation.
I very much appreciate the close contact with the residents of the neighbourhood and the resulting connection to the neighbourhood itself. True to the motto "alone you are strong, together you are unbeatable", it is very important to me to strengthen the community, because together you can achieve so much more.
