Crafts Museum
The Bocholt Handicrafts Museum was opened in 1993 on Köcherstraße in Bocholt. It was founded on the initiative of Walter Dues, a master carpenter from Bocholt, who managed the museum until his old age. In 2007, on the initiative of the married couple Walter and Hedwig Dues, the Bocholt Craft Museum Foundation Dues-Stadtsparkasse was founded, which has since been committed to the preservation of the museum.
The Bocholt Handicrafts Museum is supported by its own sponsoring association, whose members are financially and actively committed to the preservation of the building and the collection.
