Survey on the development of the Bocholt City Museum
Citizens have until 20 August to have their say: As part of a survey on the topic of defining guidelines, the Bocholt City Museum, which is sponsored by the City of Bocholt and the Verein für Heimatpflege e.V., invites people to anchor their ideas and wishes in the future museum concept.
The town museum is an ideal place to immerse yourself in Bocholt's 800-year history.
As a museum of earth history, prehistory and early history as well as a museum of art (including the valuable art collections of the 15th century engraver Israhel van Meckenem), it is an important source on the culture of the Bocholt area.
In addition to changing exhibitions and folkloristic museum areas, works from the artistic estate of the Bocholt-born stage designer Josef Fenneker can be seen, among others. A house weaving chamber provides a link to the Bocholt Textile Museum.
