Glades Tchiri
My name is Glades Tchiri and I am very happy to be involved in neighbourhood work. It is particularly important to me to promote neighbourliness and community in the Bocholt Südwest neighbourhood. My work as a neighbourhood manager is aimed equally at all residents of the neighbourhood. I place a particular focus on the needs of senior citizens and migrants. Due to my own family history in a multicultural environment, I am very familiar with the challenges and potential of these groups.
I am aware of the importance of inclusion and integration and am committed to ensuring that every resident has the same opportunity to participate in neighbourhood life and feel welcome. I have already worked as an integration guide and was able to experience first-hand how important it is to offer support and guidance to help migrants integrate into society. These experiences have shaped me and strengthened my commitment.
As I speak several languages, I am able to interact with different cultures and communities and provide assistance when needed, e.g. when filling out forms.
My colleague Edith Gewers and I will soon be moving into our neighbourhood meeting point at Bärendorfstraße 24 in Bocholt. We look forward to welcoming many neighbourhood residents there.
Of course, we are also available by telephone or e-mail to arrange a personal appointment.
Heidrun Rinke
Hello, my name is Heidrun Rinke and I have been working together with my colleague Glades Tchiri as a neighbourhood manager in Quartier Südwest at Bärendorfstr. 24 since 1 October 2024.
I have lived here in beautiful Bocholt since 1990 and have a professional background in nursing with 23 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric care. For the past 7 years I have worked as a support plan coordinator in assisted living in Wesel. Here, too, I worked with people with mental illnesses.
Neighbourhood work came to me by chance. So I'm all the more pleased with my new area of work. Because I love helping people out of their loneliness, creating programmes and seeing how fears are reduced, people come together, hurdles are overcome together and joy returns to people's faces.
We always have an open ear for the wishes, worries and concerns of all neighbourhood residents and their families.
When our flag flies in front of the neighbourhood meeting place, someone is there. So feel free to come in - we look forward to seeing you!
