Anja Tekampe

Hello, my name is Anja Tekampe. Since March of this year, I have been working at L-i-A e.V. as a qualified social worker or neighbourhood worker, together with Akan Üstüngör in the Hochfeld Süd and Innenstadt neighbourhoods.

In the context of neighbourhood work, we are in contact both with the individual actors within the neighbourhood and with many different people who live in the neighbourhood. In individual counselling, my colleague and I accompany those residents who come to us seeking help, individually and according to their needs in very different areas of life.

Among other things, we provide support in filling out various applications, understanding official letters, making appointments, advise on personal difficulties or problems within the family and, if necessary, establish contact with the relevant specialised services within our network.

In addition, together with the stakeholders and residents of the neighbourhood, we look at what needs there are in the neighbourhood and what services can be provided in response. One of our goals is for the residents of the neighbourhood to talk to each other, support each other and feel comfortable in their "neighbourhood".

Get to know us, from the beginning of July in our new inner city neighbourhood meeting place at Wesemannstraße 19 or in Hochfeld at Lönsstadion 1 (on the grounds of VFL 45), during our office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3 and 5 pm.
