Takenkamp: Housing containers are set up
The mobile housing units for refugees have been set up on the site on the street "Auf dem Takenkamp" in Biemenhorst since this week. In recent weeks, the site has been developed for the temporary accommodation of refugees.
From this week, the residential containers will be delivered and set up on the prepared site. This will be followed by the installation of the building services and the construction of the outdoor facilities. In addition to the residential units, the site will also include rooms for social care and a bridge project for children and young people.
The use of the refugee accommodation "Auf dem Takenkamp" is limited until the end of 2027. After that, the site is to be developed into residential land.
