Pension matters
Retirement is approaching! It is important to take care of all the formalities in time so that the pension is paid out on time. Many ask themselves:
"When and where do I have to apply for the pension? Who can advise me? Can I earn something on top of my pension?"
Information on pensions
The Pension Matters section of the Social Welfare Department accepts applications for social security benefits (e.g. old-age pension, reduced earning capacity pension, survivors' pension, account clarification, etc.).
The staff in the pension department provide information on all questions concerning pension insurance. The actual legal advice is provided by the insurance providers or by the insured persons' elders.

What we do for you
Receipt of applications in matters of contributions and benefits
The receipt of applications is to be regarded as the exercise of an intermediary function between the insured person and the insurance carrier. The staff of the Pension Matters Department assist in preparing pension applications.

At the request of the insurance institutions, the pension office clarifies facts in matters of contribution or benefit law of the employees' pension insurance as well as in accident investigation matters of the statutory accident insurance institutions.
