Voting: Bocholt cinema fans vote on European film
Five films from the LUX Audience Award can be seen free of charge at Kinodrom Bocholt // Dates: 24 and 31 January, 7, 14 and 21 February // EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and cooperation partners invite you to attend
Bocholt is taking part in the European Parliament's LUX Audience Award for the second time in 2025. The LUX Prize is a special tribute to European film. Citizens can watch and rate the five nominated films free of charge at the Kinodrom.
The films are shown on Thursdays at 6 pm:
- 24.01.2025: ANIMAL (Greek, German subtitles)
- 31.01.2025: FLOW (silent film)
- 07/02/2025: INTERCEPTED (Ukrainian/Russian, German subtitles)
- 14.02.2025: JULIE BLEIBT STILL (French/Dutch, German subtitles)
- 21.02.2025: DAHOMEY (French/Benin, German subtitles).
Votes can be cast via smartphone directly after the screenings. 50% of the votes will be included in the final result. Cinema-goers can vote until the end of March and win a trip to the awards ceremony in Brussels. This is a joint event organised by EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt, the Bocholt Adult Education Centre, the BELC network, the Franco-German Association and the Europa-Union Bocholt e.V.
