Online quiz about Europe

"How well do you know about Europe? " Interested citizens and young people aged 16 and over can test their knowledge of Europe at the 6th virtual EU PubQuiz organised by Europa-Punkt Bonn next Thursday, 30 January. "You can log in alone or with friends over a drink and take part in the quiz", says Sonja Wießmeier from EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt.

How many MEPs will there be after the 2024 European elections? Which national anthem has the most verses? And which one has no lyrics at all?

Following the successful quiz in Bocholt's historic town hall at the end of last year, a new edition is now being organised in a completely digital format. The event starts on Thursday at 6.30 p.m. and is aimed at members of the public and school pupils from Year 11 upwards. Registrations are accepted directly by Europapunkt Bonn.

Quiz masters Martin Mödder & Andreas Christ from Europa-Punkt in Bonn will take participants through an entertaining 90 minutes in which they can put their knowledge of Europe and everything connected with it to the test. From general knowledge and history to supposedly useless knowledge and lots of interesting and curious facts about Europe, everything is included. And there is also something to be won.

And this is how it works: On the day of the event itself, interested parties log in using the Zoom link they receive after registering. The quiz masters will explain everything else on the evening itself. It's very simple and free of charge.

This time, the EU-PubQuiz is being organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Bonn in cooperation with the EUROPE DIRECT Centres and the European Documentation Centres from North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
