Event fully booked

The event on "Artificial Intelligence" on Thursday, 5 December, is fully booked. Unfortunately, further registrations can no longer be considered. Thank you very much!

Artificial intelligence - AI for short - is on everyone's lips. It scares some people, but many are positive about it. On Thursday, 5 December, there will be an interesting lecture on this topic at "LernWerk" Bocholt (Industriestraße 1). Professor Dr Kruse and Agnes Widera from the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences will introduce the audience to the world of ChatGPT. The event starts at 19:30.

Professor Dr Kruse and Widera from Westfälische Hochschule will take the guests on an entertaining journey. For example, the audience will have the opportunity to give the experts "orders" for AI.

The Westfälische Hochschule teaches and conducts research on this topic, so participants will gain first-hand knowledge. The event does not require any knowledge of artificial intelligence. The event is aimed at teachers, parents and anyone else interested in the topic.

Background

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) will play an increasingly important role in the future - whether in everyday working life, at school, in the private sphere or in other fields of application. Clear rules are needed to strengthen trust in the technology. In May, the 27 EU member states therefore passed the world's first law on the regulation of AI. With the so-called "AIAct", the EU now has a strong foundation for the regulation of artificial intelligence that creates trust and acceptance in the technology and enables innovations "made in Europe".
