Grants for community networks and international meetings

Online event on new EU funding programme on Tuesday, 11 February, from 4 p.m. // Participation free of charge

EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt draws attention to an event on Tuesday, 11 February, which is aimed at initiatives and groups involved in municipal networks, town twinning and international exchanges at European level. European Union funding programmes that provide financial support in these areas will be presented. The event will take place online from 4 p.m. and participation is free of charge.

Interested citizens and initiatives can register directly with the CERV contact point at www.kontaktstelle-cerv.de. The abbreviation CERV stands for "Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values" (CERV) - which translates as Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values - of the European Union in Germany.

The main target groups are people from partnership associations, cultural and educational institutions and civil society organisations", explains Sonja Wießmeier from EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt.

Background

The EU funding programme CERV, which was launched in 2021, supports projects by civil society organisations, municipalities and other actors that are committed to equality and non-discrimination, more civic engagement and the prevention of violence, among other things.

At the event, experts will present the new funding focuses and priorities for the 2025 application round and provide an initial overview of the application process. In particular, they will focus on the 'Town Twinning/Municipal Meetings and Networks (TT/NT)' funding call. The application deadline for this is 27 March 2025.

The event is a cooperation between the eight EUROPE DIRECT centres in NRW and the CERV contact point.
