German-Dutch regulars' table visits Grensland Museum in Dinxperlo
Tuesday, 16 May, 7:30 pm
The next German-Dutch Stammtisch will take place on Tuesday, 16 May. The meeting place this time is the Grensland Museum in the Dutch border town of Dinxperlo (Markt 3). The meeting starts at 7:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
The German-Dutch Stammtisch meets a few times a year at certain places that symbolise cross-border issues. This time there will be a guided tour of the museum. Citizens who would like to visit the Grensland Museum or take part in the Stammtisch can register with the Adult Education Centre Bocholt by calling 02871953-697 or book online at www.vhs-bocholt.de. Participation in the museum visit costs 5 euros.
The event is organised in cooperation between the Adult Education Centre, the Europe Direct office in Bocholt and the city of Aalten. No previous knowledge is necessary. Everyone will speak in his or her own language, as is customary every day at the border, say the organisers.
