The so-called EU Code Week is a European education programme. It takes place every year in October. In Bocholt, the open creative and technology workshop "Makerspace", the Junge Uni and the Mariengymnasium, among others, are taking part this time. The participants programme and deal with digital topics.
The EU Code Week is a broad initiative that aims to make programming fun and digital skills accessible to the population in order to be fit for the working and living environments of today and tomorrow.

The EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt is cooperating with the Makerspace Bocholt on two events: On 12 October, an introductory course on 3D printing will take place from 6pm to 8pm, suitable for adults and pupils as well as students from secondary schools.
Another course that has already started in cooperation with EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt is suitable for advanced students. The course runs over three weeks; tinkerers meet from 5 to 7 p.m. each day to programme electronic controls. Information and registration at https://codeweek.eu/events.
