Floor 3: Programme accepts first scholarship holders

In October, three young talents started their business scholarship at the Etage 3 coworking space in Bocholt. The sponsored participants, who were selected from a large number of applications, now have unlimited and free access to the premises and resources of Etage 3 for six months.

The scholarship is aimed at students and young professionals who want to develop academically and professionally and make valuable contacts. The scholarship holders are Melina Efing, a 19-year-old student teacher at the University of Münster, Cem Demir, 24, who is studying for a Master's degree in German and Islamic Religion, and Nicolas Knuf, 23, who is studying for a degree in Digital Transformation alongside his job at an IT company.

The scholarship holders will be accompanied by Marc-Henrik Hilbertz, who will be available as a mentor. Hilbertz himself is a Master's student at the Technical University of Braunschweig and supports the participants with all questions relating to their studies and professional networking.

Etage3 Coworkingspace GmbH is the initiator of the programme and provides the workspaces and various networking opportunities.

The scholarship is financed by Stadtsparkasse Bocholt, while the city of Bocholt, Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Stadtmarketinggesellschaft Bocholt, Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft für den Kreis Borken, Kreishandwerkerschaft Borken, IHK Nord Westfalen and Westfälische Hochschule support the project in partnership. A continuation of the programme for the 2025 summer semester is already planned.
