The Seniors' Office
What we do
Demographic change and the associated ageing of society are on everyone's lips. In Bocholt, the proportion of people over 60 is around 22% and the demographic development forecast shows that this proportion will steadily increase. However, the increase in life expectancy and the change in the age structure can also be associated with an increasing need for help.
Older people and their relatives therefore need a contact point to which they can turn with questions arising from the special situation of their stage of life. For this reason, the city of Bocholt has set up a senior citizens' office. Here, senior citizens and their relatives receive help, advice and information on all areas relevant to senior citizens. Bundled information for senior citizens in Bocholt can also be found in the brochure.
