Traffic: Bottleneck on Meckenemstraße

Due to sewer works, the traffic routing on Meckenemstraße, between the junctions Bärendorfstraße and Hohenzollernstraße, will be narrowed to one lane from 24 May. The construction work will last until mid-July.

Traffic will be routed along the inner side of the Stadtring in a single lane. Cyclists and pedestrians can continue to pass the area.

For the duration of the work, turning from Bärendorfstraße onto Meckenemstraße in the direction of the railway station is prohibited due to lack of width.

Signs at the main entrances inform about the construction work and the single-lane traffic routing. People who know the area are advised to avoid the area by using the other side of the Stadtring.
