Renovation of Aasee cycle paths: work begins on Tuesday

Paths will be widened and asphalted // First construction phase: construction time about eight weeks

Following this weekend's Bocholt Aasee Triathlon, work will begin next Tuesday to improve the Aasee cycle paths. The cycle paths will be widened and asphalted, the city of Bocholt informs. The parallel path will remain open and can be used by cyclists and pedestrians.

The first construction phase runs between Uhlandstraße and the playground on the northeast shore, and the construction time is expected to be about eight weeks. The playground on the north-eastern shore near the bathing bay remains accessible throughout.

The access roads from Antoniusstraße and Kunfbachstraße will be closed. Access to the leisure facilities on the Aasee will also not be possible from the Aasee side for the duration of the project.
