Mobility survey: what happens next

Bocholt - How mobile are people in the Borken district? The district administration wants to clarify this question by means of a random sample survey. A survey was carried out in September and numerous households were contacted and asked to document all their journeys for a day - regardless of whether they were made by bike, car or on foot.

The survey has now been completed, according to the district. Over 7,600 people took part. "We would like to express our sincere thanks for the participation of our citizens," says the district administration. This has created a meaningful data basis for transport planning.

The evaluation phase will now begin: the results of the "Mobil im Kreis Borken" survey are expected to be published at www.bor-mobil.de in the first quarter of 2024.
