Borgersstraße: Work on the next construction phase begins

Cycle path is being renovated // Diversion set up and signposted

Since mid-January, the cycle path on Borgersstraße has been renovated. Work on the second construction phase will start on Thursday, and a diversion has been set up.

Work continues on Borgersstraße: On Thursday, 23 February, work will start on the second and last construction phase for the renovation of the cycle path. The one-way road will now continue towards the city centre and run between Barloer Weg (height of the bakery) and Stenerner Weg.

The entrance is closed to through traffic from the junction area, the city of Bocholt informs. A diversion is signposted, the residents have been informed about the work by the construction company.

The bakery will also remain accessible to motor traffic via the existing diversion signs, according to the City of Bocholt. The work on the cycle path should be completed between the middle and the end of April - the time of completion, however, depends on the weather, among other things.
