Bocholt opens the picnic blankets
"Brit Pic" on Sunday, 16 June, from 5 pm at the Textile Museum // Framed by the Münsterland Picnic Days // Participation free of charge
Picnicking in the park, in classic English style: this is possible on Sunday, 16 June, at the "Brit Pic" in Bocholt. The picnic blankets will be laid out there from 5 pm. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend the event on the lawn in front of the LWL Textile Museum on the Kubaai site on Uhlandstraße. Registration is not necessary and participation is free of charge.
The picnic blankets will be well stocked with numerous treats for high tea: Lovers of the British picnic will bring numerous delicacies that they have prepared themselves. From sandwiches and pies to British tea and shortbread, there should be nothing missing.
Packed lunches for the British picnic
For those who don't want to bring their own food, the museum restaurant "Schiffchen" prepares an extra "packed lunch". Vouchers for a "packed-lunch" can be purchased for 11.50 euros at the Tourist-Info Bocholt until 13 June.
"Very British" at the "Brit Pic"
Colourful hats, beautiful dresses and chic picnic blankets conjure up the perfect British flair on the grounds of the Kulturquartier along the Bocholter Aa. Everyone is invited to come "very British" to this "Brit Pic". In addition to the culinary delights, picnic guests will be entertained by live music from Ralf Rademacher with Irish folk, country and rock & pop.

Under the motto "I. You. We. The Münsterland celebrates picnics! ", picnic enthusiasts from Bocholt and the surrounding area are invited to celebrate the Münsterland lifestyle at a German-British picnic. The Münsterland Picnic Days are taking place for the fourth time around 18 June, the International Picnic Day, throughout Münsterland - in the city and in the countryside.
