Training on guardianship law

The city of Bocholt is organising a free training course in cooperation with the local care associations. The event will take place on Tuesday, 16 January and is aimed at voluntary carers, authorised representatives and citizens interested in the topic. It starts at 18:30 in the premises of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) on Kreuzstraße. Registrations can be made by calling 02871 2394563.

Gabriele Theling, a member of staff at the AWO care organisation and a legal guardian herself, will talk about the basics of care law. She will give an overview of the requirements for setting up a guardianship, the course of the procedure and the scope of the guardianship.

The event is part of the training series "Well trained - well represented", a co-operation of the local working group for the care system. In addition to the care authority of the city of Bocholt, the care associations SkF Bocholt and AWO Bocholt are members of the working group.
