Housing options for people with care needs

Training for voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties on Tuesday, 19 November, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. // Participation free of charge

What forms of housing are available in Bocholt for people who need care? Which providers and counselling options are available? A lecture event on this topic will take place on Tuesday, 19 November.

The event starts at 6.30 pm at the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) at Kreuzstraße 16 and is free of charge. Registration is required by calling 02871 / 23 94 563.

The event is aimed at voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested members of the public.

Gabriele Theling, a member of staff at the Workers' Welfare Association and a legal carer herself, will give a talk on the topic of forms of housing. She will also be discussing the requirements that need to be taken into account for forms of housing for people with dementia and the effects of demographic change on living and housing situations.

Another key topic will be end-of-life care. Theling will provide information on palliative care options.

The event is part of the training programme "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten", which is offered by the working group for the care system in the city of Bocholt. The aim of the programme is to strengthen social structures in Bocholt.
