Fit for youth work: register now for youth leader training
Qualification course in January // Participation possible from the age of 16 // Registration deadline 10 December
In January 2025, the city of Bocholt will once again be offering a youth leader training course, which provides interested people aged 16 and over with important skills for leading youth groups. The training is a prerequisite for the nationally recognised youth leader card (JuLeiCa). Registrations can be made at the youth welfare office until 10 December.
The training will take place over two weekends: from 10 to 12 January 2025 and from 24 to 26 January 2025, from Friday to Sunday. The number of participants is limited to 15. The course comprises 40 teaching units covering topics such as youth protection, liability and insurance, leadership styles, accident prevention, event planning and public relations. In addition, group dynamic processes and play pedagogy are taught in a practical way.
The experienced media educator and communications trainer Willi Kisters from Sonsbeck will once again be available as the course leader. Participation in the youth leader training course not only entitles you to apply for the JuLeiCa, but also enables you to be issued with the volunteer card under certain conditions.
Interested parties can register by 10 December 2024 with the City of Bocholt's Youth and Family Department on 02871/953-2394. As places are limited, early registration is recommended.
