Financial injection for Bocholt associations and social institutions

Bocholt associations struggling with energy cost increases due to the crisis can now apply for a cash injection. The city council has decided on a funding pot. Up to 1,500 euros can be granted per association in energy cost subsidies.

Funding budget for energy cost support for Bocholt associations

In this way, the city wants to strengthen and support voluntary structures. Therefore, Bocholt associations are supported in securing their existence and bridging financial bottlenecks due to direct or indirect consequences caused by the energy crisis through funding from the "Förderbudget zur Energiekosten-Unterstützung für Bocholter Vereine". Information on requirements and application forms are available at www.bocholt.de/vereinshilfe, telephone support is available on 02871 953 4141.

In order to exclude double subsidies, the city points out that priority subsidy programmes from the state and federal government must first be checked. If an association comes away empty-handed because it does not meet the requirements, an application can be submitted to the city. In this way, the city closes any funding gaps.
