City flies its flag at half-mast
Sunday, 1 September, in memory of the Solingen victims
The flags on public buildings in Bocholt will fly at half-mast next Sunday, 1 September 2024. This is a sign in memory of the victims of the violence in Solingen. Several people were killed and injured at a town festival there a few days ago.
The NRW Ministry of the Interior has ordered this flag of mourning. In this way, the city of Bocholt is expressing its deepest sympathy for the victims of the act of violence and their families.
