City plants trees on Uhlandstraße
This week, 31 young trees were planted in the newly designed car park on Uhlandstraße (by the textile museum).
The trees planted in the car park include copper beeches, magnolias, shingle oaks, willow-leaved oaks and elms.
"When selecting the trees, we made sure that they are climate-resistant", says Peter Schlabs from the Mobility and Environment Department. Tree species and varieties were also planted with which the city has had good experience in recent years.
