Border road "Heelweg"/"Hellweg" in Bocholt-Suderwick to be redesigned
Idea asked on civic participation for Dutch and Germans on Wednesday, October 12, 19-21 clock in the village church Dinxperlo (NL).
On Wednesday, October 12, a public participation meeting on the redesign of the "Heelweg" (German: "Hellweg") will be held in the village church in Dinxperlo from 7 to 9 pm. Dutch as well as German residents of the two border villages are cordially invited to inform themselves about the project and to contribute ideas and wishes to the plans.
The connecting border road
The special feature of the road is its location: Hellweg or Heelweg, including the roadway and the northern footpath, is on Dutch territory, while the southern footpath is on German territory. The impetus for this measure is the redesign of the village center, the avenue and the Heelweg on the Dutch side.
The municipality of Aalten now invites to a joint exchange. Here the partners involved introduce themselves and it about the organization and participation process is informed, so the municipality. Furthermore, wishes and ideas can be expressed and questions about the project can be asked. "The ideas brought in are collected and, if possible, processed in a first draft," it says.
