Prizewinners of "Jugend musiziert" give concert in Bocholt

On Sunday, 9 March, the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School will be hosting this year's "Jugend musiziert" prizewinners' concert at the Bocholt Lernwerk (Industriestr. 1). 17 pupils from the Borken and Wesel districts will present excerpts from their competition entries. The concert starts at 11 am, admission is free and registration is not required.
The 62nd "Jugend musiziert" competition started in January in around 135 regions of Germany, including the Westmünsterland region at the Landesmusikakademie Heek. Together with the "Jugend musiziert" regional committee, the Bocholt-Isselburg music school organised this year's prizewinners' concert for the Westmünsterland regional competition for the Borken and Wesel districts. A total of 17 prizewinners from the Borken and Wesel districts (on the right bank of the Rhine) will present excerpts from their competition entries. The programme includes contributions from this year's categories "Solo" with violin and cello and "Ensemble" with "Piano and wood duo" and "Guitar duo".
First City Councillor Björn Volmering will welcome the prizewinners and present them with their certificates.
