Music school teacher Bruno Metzdorf retires
The piano teacher had been employed by the city of Bocholt since 1989
He has taught generations of pupils and has always been committed to them. On 1 October, Bruno Metzdorf will now enter a well-deserved retirement.
He began his musical journey as a student at the St. Gregorius Church Music School in Aachen, meanwhile already working as a cantor in the Catholic parish of Mönchengladbach and later in the Catholic parish of St. Anna in Kleve. He then studied instrumental pedagogy at the "Robert-Schumann-Institut" music college in Düsseldorf, majoring in piano, and graduated as a music school teacher.
In 1989 Bruno Metzdorf then entered the service of the city of Bocholt and became a piano teacher in the Isselburg and Rhede branches, where he was regarded as an extremely pleasant and friendly colleague.
