FW Bocholt: Traffic accident on the B67 - one person slightly injured

This afternoon at around 5.30 pm, there was a traffic accident involving five cars on the B67 trunk road near Rhede Krechting. One person sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The other people were only involved and uninjured.

The Bocholt fire brigade, which was alerted to secure the scene of the accident together with the rescue service, assisted with disconnecting the batteries and collecting any leaking operating fluids.

In the course of the operation, the emergency services were able to inspect a hybrid vehicle (petrol/electric) involved more closely for damage or possible sources of danger using rescue maps transmitted by the control centre. A mobile tablet with a crash recovery system is available to the Bocholt fire brigade's command centre for this purpose. The operation was completed after a good 30 minutes.
