FW Bocholt: Road accident in Lowick
Bocholt (ots) -
The fire and rescue services of the city of Bocholt were alerted to a traffic accident on the Übbingesch in Lowick at 5.40 am today.
A car had crashed into a tree on the scene and come to rest on its side. The trapped driver was treated in the vehicle by the emergency services and freed by the fire brigade using technical equipment. He was then transported to hospital. The driver was seriously but not life-threateningly injured.
The fire and rescue services attended the scene with a total of 13 firefighters and five vehicles.
