FW Bocholt: Operation as part of the pre-planned supra-local assistance NRW in Oberhausen
FW Bocholt (ots) -
As part of the Borken-Bottrop district standby service, the Bocholt fire brigade was also alerted by the Münster district government at around 11.00 a.m. today. Together with other forces from the Borken district fire brigade and the Bottrop fire brigade, a total of 168 firefighters with 31 vehicles made their way to Oberhausen. Here, the district standby team relieved the emergency services who had been working to stabilise the Ruhr dyke since the early hours of the morning. The Bocholt fire brigade is deployed with a fire engine, the lorry-mounted crane and the SEG Lage Luft with 15 firefighters. The operation on site will last around 12 hours before the forces are relieved again.
