FW Bocholt: Combine harvester on fire

At around 7:30 p.m., the Bocholt fire brigade was alerted to a burning combine harvester in a field on the road Am Reyerdingsbach in Spork.
The Suderwick fire brigade of the Bocholt volunteer fire brigade was the first to arrive and immediately started fighting the fire. This, together with the farmer's prudent action and support, prevented the fire from spreading to the field, which had not yet been completely harvested.
A fire engine from the Bocholt fire and rescue station was dispatched to the scene.
No one was injured.
In total, the Bocholt fire brigade was on the scene with 16 emergency personnel and four vehicles.
