FW Bocholt: Animal freed from awkward situation - fire brigade opens car

Bocholt fire brigade (ots) -

On Tuesday afternoon, 23 April 2025, the Bocholt fire brigade was alerted at 4:59 p.m. to an operation under the keyword "Animal in distress" on Barloer Weg.
A dog was trapped in a parked vehicle after the car key had been lost. The crew of a fire engine were able to free the animal safely. The emergency services used a slightly open window to gain access to the inside of the vehicle. This required not only dexterity, but also creativity.
The fire brigade was on site with one vehicle and six firefighters. The operation was over after around 20 minutes.
