Third trip from Bocholt // Donations and medical supplies
The third aid transport from Bocholt has also arrived in the Ukrainian city of Verkhniodniprovsk. The aid delivery to the east of Ukraine had been in preparation since the beginning of August. Bocholt maintains a solidarity partnership with Verkhniodniprovsk.
The aid delivery focused on goods that are urgently needed in local hospitals, including care beds and bed linen, surgical masks and protective suits and bandages.
"The donations arrived safely in Ukraine", says Petra Taubach from the city of Bocholt. She would also like to thank the many donors who made the transport possible on behalf of the administration.
Funding for the donation trip
The transport of the relief supplies to Ukraine was sponsored by the Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW).
