Online lecture: Money is something women (don't) talk about
Event on February 1, 2023 // Offer of the Equal Opportunities Officer
Women earn less than men, have fewer assets, less pension. Nevertheless, many don't care about money. Why is that? How can financial equality succeed? These and other questions will be addressed in an online lecture on February 1, starting at 7 p.m.
Money is the basis for a good living and our daily life. The best time for a woman to take care of her finances is now. Why? Because it simply feels good to know your own resources and manage them independently, says speaker Magdalena Schürmann.
In the online lecture, Schürmann wants to shed light on the importance of money for women and why women don't (yet) talk about money. In the process, we will take a close look at our personal attitude to finances and uncover individual beliefs. With an outlook for the future, we also want to work out which financial issues we should deal with as women and which next steps we can take to actively address our finances.
Equal Opportunities Officer Astrid Schupp invites all interested women to this online seminar. Please register by e-mail at the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Bocholt at gleichstellung(at)bocholt(dot)de.
The seminar will be led by Magdalena Schürmann, B.A. Business Economist and Business Coach. Registration for this event is required!
