Climate protection: Contribute your own ideas now

Since the beginning of the month, citizens have been able to submit their ideas for climate protection in Bocholt on the municipal website. More than 100 Bocholt residents have already submitted their ideas - the administration hopes for many more suggestions.

Also, ideas that have already been registered have been rated more than 850 times. The rule here is: every evaluation helps. Because only socially accepted measures can be successfully implemented later, says Angela Theurich from the environmental department of the city of Bocholt.

Ideas for climate and heat protection in the city are to be collected together. For this purpose, there is an idea map on the city's website at www.bocholt.de/klimaschutz, where citizens can enter their suggestions directly. In addition, an online questionnaire asks for important climate protection topics and priorities. Participation takes only a few minutes.

Participation possible until the end of August

Proposals will be collected via the city's participation platform until 30 August. All interested citizens are called upon to participate in the survey. Those who would like to participate but cannot do so via the website provided can also send their ideas by e-mail or by post:
