VHS lecture: The power of diversity in the world of work

On Tuesday, 28 May, Volkshochschule Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg (VHS) invites you to a lecture entitled "Diversity and diversity management in the world of work - status quo and perspectives". The renowned speaker Prof. Kerstin Ettl from the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences at the Bocholt campus will provide insights into the field of diversity management and discuss the success factors for companies and Germany as a business location.
The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Language Centre (Isselburger Str. 64 in Bocholt). A fee of 5 euros will be charged for participation. Interested parties are asked to register in advance at www.vhs-bocholt.de. Further information and registration is also available at the VHS office in Bocholt and at the Rhede and Isselburg branches.
The event is organised in cooperation with EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Science.
About the speaker
Dr Kerstin Ettl has been a professor of business administration, in particular management with a focus on gender and diversity, at the Bocholt campus since October 2020.
The professorship's fields of research cover a wide range of management-related topics and issues. In addition to entrepreneurship and the management of start-ups, the focus is on the management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and is linked to issues of gender and diversity. For example, the programme researches the characteristics of entrepreneurial diversity and diversity and diversity management in SMEs. Special attention is paid to the interplay between diversity, innovation and corporate development.
As a professorial member of the Doctoral College NRW (PK NRW), Kerstin Ettl is involved as a doctoral supervisor for doctoral students.
