VHS lecture on heat pumps: "Why act now?"

The Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre invites you to a specialist lecture on heat pumps and the heat transition on Tuesday, 25 March 2025. Under the title "Heat pump/heat transition - Why act NOW and not wait and see?", speaker Michael Birkhan will explain the most important aspects of the technology and its cost-effectiveness at the Bocholt Media Centre from 7 pm.

The presentation covers various heat pump variants, costs, funding opportunities and installation in existing buildings. It will also explain why heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, storage systems and electric cars are a perfect match. Birkhan has over 30 years of experience and himself operates a climate-friendly heat pump in an old building.

The participation fee is 6 euros (reduced 5 euros). Registration at www.vhs-bocholt.de is recommended, remaining places are available at the box office.
