VHS lecture: Electric cars - already more economical than classic drives?
The VHS Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is offering a lecture on the current topic "Electric cars - already more economical than classic drive systems?" on Tuesday, 28 February. The speaker, Michael Birkhan, will cover all topics related to electromobility on this evening. The audience is cordially invited to ask their questions.
It will start with the eco-balance of electric cars over their entire life cycle. By clarifying the electricity requirements with a high proportion of electric cars on the roads, the current situation will be presented, particularly with regard to range and charging infrastructure in Germany. Lecturer Michael Birkhan will give an overview of current electric cars and those coming onto the market by 2024, as well as different charging options. And of course, the important question of whether and under what circumstances an electric car can already be used economically will be clarified. It is also important to know what current subsidy options are available in addition to the e-car premium. Alternative mobility solutions such as fuel cell vehicles/synthetic liquid fuels can also be included in the consideration if desired.
The venue is the Media Centre, Alter Bahnhof Bocholt, Hindenburgstr. 5, starting at 7 pm. The participation fee is 6,- € (reduced 5,- €). Registration in advance via the internet is linked to a seat reservation. Remaining tickets are available at the box office on site.
