VHS course on "Balcony Power Plants
Mini photovoltaic system for own use // Thursday, 21 September, from 19:30 in the Media Centre
The VHS Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is offering a lecture on the topic of "The mini photovoltaic system for personal use" on Thursday, 21 September. The speaker, Gregor Berning, will cover all topics related to the so-called "balcony power plant". The venue is the Media Centre Bocholt (Hindenburgstr. 5). The event begins at 7:30 pm. The fee is 6 euros. Registration at www.vhs-bocholt.de. Remaining places will be allocated at the box office.
Current energy prices are the social issue in Germany at the moment. For anyone who wants to make a contribution to sustainable electricity generation and at the same time go easy on their wallet, balcony power plants can be an introduction to the topic.
The small solar plants generate electricity and feed it directly into one's own house or rented flat. In his lecture, speaker Berning explains everything about the mode of operation, installation, safety, formalities, possible savings potential and background of mini photovoltaic systems. Although a balcony power plant is not enough to cover the entire electricity demand in one's own home, it does reduce the electricity bill from day one.
