The withdrawn gym manager Lou lives a rather boring life in a small town in Mexico. Due to a lack of alternatives, her ex-girlfriend Katy is still coming in and out of her house and her job at the gym offers little variety. But all that is about to change when Jackie gets stranded in the dusty town. Jackie wants to make a name for herself as a bodybuilder and is on her way to Las Vegas, where she wants to take part in a contest. The attraction between Lou and Jackie is palpable at first sight and a passionate love story soon sparks between the sportswomen. But Lou's father is an arms dealer and is wanted by the FBI for his criminal activities. Unsuspectingly, Jackie begins to become entangled in the criminal dealings of Lou's family. The two lovers are soon caught up in a maelstrom of violence and bloodshed. A toxic, erotic and brutal relationship develops...

About the special film campaign
The film series "KINO Bocholt - the special film" has been running since 1977 as a cooperation between the Department of Education and Culture and Kinodrom Bocholt. The aim is to present exceptional films - which would otherwise not be shown in Bocholt - to an interested audience of all ages at a favourable price. Selected films are usually shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
