City Museum invites to the public presentation of the results of citizen participation

Sunday, 5 November, at 11 a.m. in the hall of the historic town hall on the market square

The City of Bocholt, the Verein für Heimatpflege e.V. and the team of the City Museum invite interested citizens to participate in the public presentation of the results and the presentation of the new museum mission statement. The event will take place on Sunday, 5 November, at 11 a.m. in the historic town hall on the Markt. Participation is free of charge and no prior registration is necessary. 90 seats are available in the hall.

Background: New mission statement

From 13 June to 20 August, interested citizens were able to contribute their ideas and wishes to the process of creating the mission statement in a survey.

"A total of 251 people took advantage of the opportunity and participated in our participation offer," reports Museum Director Lisa Resing. The results and submissions were so varied and extensive that it took several weeks to completely sift through and process all the feedback. Resing is delighted in this regard: "We were very pleased with every single line and would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for the trust and commitment." In addition to the content-related basis for the future museum mission statement, the survey results revealed many other impulses, suggestions and ideas that will accompany the further conceptual planning.
