Waste collection: postponements in the New Year week
On New Year's Day (Monday, 1 January), the Bocholt waste collection service also stops work. This means that rubbish bin collections are postponed by one day after the public holiday.
For example, anyone who usually puts their bins out for emptying on Mondays will not have to do so until Tuesday after the New Year. This regulation affects the yellow bins in areas K to O and the paper bins in areas A to E as well as all organic waste bins.
The waste disposal and service company would like to point out that all waste bins must be ready for emptying by 6 a.m. on the day of collection.
All collection dates can be found in both the printed "Waste Calendar 2024" and the waste navigation system ( https://www.bocholt.de/abfall-navi ). The waste navigation system provides personalised data for the street in question. With the ESB's free waste app, all dates are conveniently available on mobile devices. A practical reminder function can be easily set.
