"Nettes and bric-a-brac" at the Bocholt bulky waste exchange
On 28 September from 10-12 am at the recycling centre // Proceeds go to a charitable project
On Saturday, 28 September, the waste advisory service of Entsorgungs- und Servicebetrieb Bocholt (ESB) invites you to a bulky waste exchange. From 10 a.m. to 12 noon, you can rummage for exciting finds in the vehicle hall at Schaffeldstraße 74. The focus of the offer is on small decorative items.
Collection for the bulky waste exchange
Over the past few weeks, the recycling centre staff have been on the lookout for items that are suitable for sale at the bulky waste exchange in order to maximise the range of items on offer. The collection container is now well filled. It will therefore not be possible to accept items for the bulky waste exchange until the beginning of October.
Sale for the baby basket of the Catholic Women's Welfare Service
The main purpose of the bulky waste exchange is to reuse items that are in good condition and thus promote sustainability. The more items that can be reused, the better. All proceeds from the bulky waste exchange go to the baby basket of the Catholic Women's Welfare Service (SkF). Staff from the SkF will be present at the event to answer any questions about their work.
Help from Bocholt associations
Volunteers will support the ESB with the set-up and sale. The Child Protection Association will provide support in the run-up to the event. The youth of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) will be active as stewards on the day of the event and will help with clearing up after the exchange.
If you have any questions about the bulky waste exchange, please contact ESB waste consultant Petra Tacke on 02871 953-3424.
