Disposing of green waste: Additional green waste collection at the car park "Unter den Eichen"

From next Saturday, 8 March, the city of Bocholt will be offering an additional green waste collection point at the "Unter den Eichen" car park every Saturday in March. A vehicle from the waste disposal and service company will be available there from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. This service offers Bocholt households a convenient way to dispose of green waste.

There are a few points to note when making deliveries. For example, green waste is only accepted from Bocholt households. You must unload green waste yourself. A maximum quantity of 2 cubic metres is accepted.

Tree trunks, tree roots, branches with a diameter of more than 10 centimetres, topsoil, grass clippings and lawn cuttings are not accepted. Green waste over 2 cubic metres can be handed in to the Bocholt waste disposal company (EGB, Bovenkerkesch 14) for a fee. EGB collection times are Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 4.45 pm and Saturdays from 8.00 am to 11.45 am.

This additional green waste collection point complements the existing service at the recycling centre on Schaffeldstraße. Households in Bocholt can drop off green waste at the recycling centre all year round, whereby the same rules apply as for delivery "Unter den Eichen". The opening hours of the recycling centre are Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00. The recycling centre is closed on Mondays.
