St Nicholas boot campaign in the entire old town of Bocholt

Once again this year, children in Bocholt can look forward to the traditional St Nicholas' boot campaign. From 25 to 28 November, all children in Bocholt are cordially invited to hand in their boots at Intersport Pieron (Rebenstraße 4-12).

St Nicholas fills all the boots handed in

As in previous years, St Nicholas will once again fill all the boots handed in with little surprises. On 6 December, the filled boots will be displayed in the windows of the participating shops in Bocholt's old town from 2 pm. Each child will receive a number and a list of participating shops when they hand in their boots to make it easier to find them.

From 2 p.m. on 6 December, all the boots filled with surprises will be on display in the shop windows of the participating retailers. "Every year, the campaign shows that the children are curious to find out where their boots might be and what St Nicholas has come up with as a surprise this year", reports Ludger Dieckhues, Managing Director of Stadtmarketing Bocholt. The board of the ISG Altstadt Bocholt, which organises the campaign, is expecting around 600 boots this year too.

St Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht will be out and about in the city centre from 2 p.m. to help the children find their boots.
