Digital coach helps Bocholt retailers with their online visibility

As part of the second Digital Day in Bocholt, four local retailers took advantage of free digital advice and an online visibility check by experienced digital coach Stephan Stratmann. The shops involved were ANNA. Das bin ich, Spielebude, Juwelier Hermeier and the second-hand shop Plaan B were represented.

After the successful kick-off in July 2024, in which seven Bocholt retailers took part, the second consultation day took place yesterday. The project, which was initiated by the North Rhine-Westphalia Trade Association, offers retailers in Bocholt the opportunity to optimise their digital presence and increase their visibility online.

The digital consultancy covers various areas, including analysing the website, reviewing the Google company profile, online advertising and social media presence.

"We are happy when people shop locally, but it is also important to strengthen the online presence of Bocholt's retailers and present an attractive product range," says Ludger Dieckhues, Managing Director of Stadtmarketing Bocholt. Maike Wiltink, City Manager of Stadtmarketing Bocholt, also emphasised the importance of the initiative: "We are delighted with the digital coach's offer and would like to support Bocholt's retailers in improving their online visibility."

Yesterday's consultation day was a targeted further development for the four participating shops. Stephan Stratmann had gathered information about the respective companies in advance in order to identify specific potential for improvement and concrete optimisation approaches. The programme is part of the "Digitalcoach NRW" project, which is funded by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy.
